John H. Clarke- A True Scholar

I am a historian so this man is one of my many heroes. I came upon him late in life but I'm glad that I did never the less. He has so much wisdom and intellect that it is astonishing. This documentary is very good and one must pay attention to what he is saying. Those that are aspiring historians, professors, teachers, etc. should really listen and learn from the man. We must be better scholars and teachers for the next generations to insure our survival. Enjoy.

Macus Garvey and the UNIA

What can be said about Marcus Garvey that hasn't been said already. Great Man and his organization was great as well. His organization is the greatest organization blacks have had ever. Many have tried to imitate his organization but they has not come close. Without Marcus Garvey they couldn't be a Malcolm X. And if you want to see hating, this man experience hate from prominent black leaders and from the FBI. This is why I call black informants and and those that keep quiet on things that happen in the neighborhood 600's after the agent that was the FBI informant that was assigned on Garvey. We have alot of 600's in our community and I mean alot. Garvey was a great man with a great idea and that idea gave him the strength of the people. His organization provided the best model for blacks to be self sufficient, pan africanism, community collectiveness, etc. So it is a good document that many should check out. And again look at the pictures of the black families and the men and women, look at that power. It is amazing that that is the stock we come from but we don't imitate it or represent it with honor. Anyway it's black history month so enjoy.

Jack Johnson: Unforgivable Blackness

I was watching this documentary Sunday. It's not the first time I've seen it. I love this documentary. Jack Johnson is a hero and I think blacks have forgotten him. Without him there could be know Joe Louis and especially no Muhammed Ali. It makes you proud to see something like this. I would watch his fights and be like wow. It shows you a time when we did have our hero's and famous people live next to us and how we tied our on shoe laces and did for ourselves. I think that blacks in this country do not have the wealth, dignity, honor, collective force of the community like they did in the earlier parts of the last century. We are always talking about how far we've come but when I look at old pictures and these types of stories, I think to myself, look at the honor on their faces, look at the strength, even the fear and pain. I then I say that's where we come from and look at us now. I don't give a damn if there is a so called black president we have not progressed at all. Jack lived in my hometown of Chicago on the South Side and it makes me proud to be from the South Side (Bronzeville). Alot of claim these hood and what not but do we know the history of them? It's black history month but it don't even feel like it. Where is the teachings of the unsung heroes and those we have forgotten like Jack Johnson. We must NEVER FORGET. The Jews don't, they teach they children this from the time they are young. And you know the Native Americans will not as well because they are still going through it and we cannot forget them either because their story is part of ours as well for most of us are descended from Native American Ancestry.

Why do they always title documentaries as the rise and fall? To me when you fall it means you have fallen from grace, honor, character. You have lost your soul, you have fallen like the angels that followed Lucifer. But we say this about people who really just "Lost". Napoleon lost but he didn't fall, Hannibal Lost he didn't fall, Jack Johnson Lost but he didn't fall. He remained himself until the day he died. He was consistent to the very end, and you can't help but to respect that. We are always letting someone else tell our story and sing the praises of our own heroes which is stupid. You let someone do that, you're letting them control your past, present, and future. Know your history and write your own history. Rise never to fall. It's ok to lose but never fall. Indeed Jack Johnson was an amazing individual flaws and all.

Finally I get my wish

After writing that last blog I finally found what I been looking for black women who pole dance (Yesssssssssssssssssssssss). I am so damn happy you just don't know. See for yourself:

Now of course she could use some work on her extensions and she not a season veteran ready for real competition, but I couldn't give a damn right now. The woman that owns the place is black and fine as helllllllllllllllllll (Yesssssssssssssss). I'm just so happy and I really want them to succeed because I want to see these ladies compete and compete hard. However I found another black woman that can do it too (Yesssssssssssssssssssssssss). Observe:

With more lessons this woman can be a beast on the pole. This is my guilty pleasure and fetish so don't mind me. I would like to add an exception to the rule right quick. Observe:

Although she does not do a lot of pole work, she does a good job of self-expressing herself. I found it quite entertaining and she really is a good dancer. If I wanted to a salsa club she would so be my partner. As you can see it is hardly raunchy and the routine is sexy as well as the performer. She's a good dancer and you really can't put her in a stripper category that is why she is an exception. Let's get back to the show shall we. Now this is a dance to jazz and poetry (DAMN!). Watch this:

I swear she just makes me want a tall chick... But that's another part of me you don't know need to know. This is so why I don't not discriminate and find the beauty in all women.

OK one more for the road for I lose my damn mind.

Pole Dancing Vs. Stripping (The Seductress vs. The Slut)

I just felt compelled to write this don't ask me why. I was looking at Pole Dancing and as I was watching I was having this idea that if there was a black woman or a latina that had a bad ass body and could do what I see these white women do, she would mop the floor with them. So I was just surfing videos and I came on this video that said something about pole dancing so I saw that the chick was black and as I was bout to say finally I might just get my wish, I was seriously Let down. I would like to submit the following videos:

Beauty and Art in the making right? The sensuality of the body the grace of the movements. It becomes so seductive and enchanting. The woman lures you into it like a magic spell and you become mesmerized by it. Now take a look at the next one:

Now what the fuck is this shit! Notice that part of the title says pole dancing right? But that's not pole dancing that is damn stripping. It became stripping once she started to pop her ass and id definitely became stripping once money was thrown in the air. It's sleazy and raunchy and it only caters to the mans primal need to fuck. Now peep this out. She does more dancing than she does pole work, another characteristic of a stripper. As you can see this woman is black and she has a nice shape (a lil flabby in some areas, but that's alright). Look at what she's content to doing. She is just a stripper that can do some damn tricks. Yes I said tricks because that's all she is doing, she is nothing doing nothing that implies the world difficulty. Difficulty is world they use in sports like gymnastics and ice skating. All this chick can do is fucking tricks. Nothing about this routine says seduction or does it seduces the watcher. All it does it makes you want to fuck her and then nut on her belly and get the fuck outta dodge. This is why strippers are about of "The Life" of "The Game" and they are on the bottom of the totem pole of it. See you can't put a pole dancer in the same category of stripper. Here is where a group of women and turned something into a sensual seductive form of art. Why are black female strippers so content with being the slut? Why can't they strive for more. I would love to see more black women compete in pole dancing championship and personally be a high level seductive force for me. But that shit ain't going to happen so long as she is content to be the slut and not a lady. While she is still content on being the bottom bitch and not the Queen bitch (yet they always say that, but how can you take them seriously). Luckily I know a black woman that owns her own pole dancing studio and I hope she and her students compete because I would love to see it. But enough with the damn strippers and the stripper vibe, strippers are not respectable just like hoes and sluts are not respectable. As far as the stripping routine the chick did she did a excellent job don't get me wrong. That's the best strippers routine I ever seen in my life. I can't take nothing from her in that. As far as seduction and creativity and art form she fails miserably. She has no form or substance whatsoever. You can talk about how the real pole dancers are stick figures and what not, but let me tell you, when they are truly working that pole they make you forget quick as hell. Because you're not paying attention to the actual look of her body your paying attention to the actual beauty of it and how each move complements the body and makes it sensual. Now some may take stripping over pole dancing because they say it's boring. Pole dancing is only boring to the mediocre mind that don't know true beauty, sensuality, and sexy, because to them it outwardly and what they can feel in their genitals, which is really low level and basic.

As far as weight. Although I like her shape, she could lose some weight because like I said she can only do tricks and nothing of true difficulty. Observe:

Did you see the difficulty? One chick (one of my favs) belly danced on the pole. Belly Danced! Not only that pole dancing is also a fitness, a exercise. Because Spyda (that's the strippers name another sign) has that kind of weight she doesn't have the leg or upper body strength to pull off true high level difficulty moves. Like I said it's all tricks. Observe:

Here you have a good seductive song where you can kill off of and she fucks it all up. Notice how here tricks are becoming repetitive and even then she loses you because her tricks become confusing and you're left to wonder what the fuck is she doing? She becomes predictable as well. Pole dancing is also a form of self-expression for women in my opinion. From her stripper routines I can come to a conclusion that spyda's self-expression is very hyper active and crazy. And I'm gonna go deeper than that, she probably has had only men fuck her and none make love to her. (Scarface voice) "What you good looking, all these niggas want to fuck you only you got a look in your eye that ain't been made love too in forever." I could be wrong but I call it how I see it. She only draws my attention to her ass, tities, and pussy. Where as a true pole dancing draws your attention on her (the woman herself). Observe.

See how Felix expression herself. She isn't mechanical and repetitive She commands the crowds attention on her and not the outer shell that is her body. her movements and body language goes hand in hand with the song it self. This is why Felix will mop the floor with Spyda everytime. And Actually I want to like spyda i think she has potential. However I think she is also wasting it on stripper bullshit. Becausd of that she will never excel into the high levels of pole dancing, but she's a good stripper if you like strippers (Simps and tricks). Now that i have explained my point to the best of my ability I will close with and encore performance from Felix Cane. (Yes I love that chick to death lol)

Vila Isabel

I am not a hater and I have to give credit where credit is due. Vila Isabel killed it in this performance. The singer was off the chain. I think he captured the emotion of the song as well as the performers. Especially the Rainha de Bateria I will have to find out her name but it's the fine ass woman in the baby blue ass less chaps. I'm gonna be a guy for a minute so don't mind me.... Man did you see the abs on that woman? And that ass wooooooo she was getting it. And she was fine as hell.... Now back to our regular scheduled program. The crowd was on fire and they was partying as if carnival was here. I am a lover of Mangueria, but I have to show love to those that do a good job. I think this song has the potential to put Vila Isabel in the champion's seat this year. I really hope they bring it in February.

MEU CORAÇÃO É VERDE ROSA!!!

I am a lover of Brazilian culture and my favorite Samba School is in Rio de Janeiro. G.R.E.S. Estação Primeira de Mangueira is my hands down absolute favorite samba school It was the first samba school I was introduced too and I still love it. It is one of the reason why I want to go to Brazil. Even though I feel like I'm reposting how i feel about Mangueira, I can not tell how much I love it so. I saw this clip of Mangueira and I was singing and I wish I was there to just participate and be apart of it. I have so much affection for Mangueira and I always will. MEU CORAÇÃO É VERDE ROSA!!!
